If you are looking to become an end point assessor, Nvq/Btec assessor or teach and assess apprenticeships, you will need to gain a nationally accredited assessing qualification Assessor qualifications are suitable for those working in colleges, training providers and schools Training delivered online by experienced senior IQAs and trainers Small group or 1:1 sessions (maximum of 6). Minimum age 19. Payment can be made in instalments over 3 months (to be agreed before signing up) with just a £50 deposit or pay in one instalment 10% discount available for groups of 6 or more enrolling at the same time
CAVA Course
This course is certified by Highfield and is the equivalent of the old V1 Assessor course. Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3 Certificate: consists of 3 units which can be studied together or separately Unit 1 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment Unit 2 Assess occupational competence in the work environment Unit 3 Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) is the only assessor qualification that qualifies you to become and practise as a fully qualified assessor. It is suitable to assessors in classrooms, professional training or for end point assessors. The CAVA qualification is equivalent to TAQA (Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance), or A1 and this is a modern, recognised Level 3 assessing vocational achievement certification that came to replace the previous versions of the qualification. The course will enable you to prepare for a career in evaluating vocational competence for a range of qualifications, such as apprenticeships, NVQ, Btec, EPA, functional skills, teaching certificates and more We offer this course as a distance course or face to face depending on your needs. Our tutors are there to support you on the phone, online or email. You will have the flexibility to learn at your own pace and take up to a year to complete. You could however, with some hard work, complete in as little as 6 weeks. On average most learners complete in around 3-4 months.
